The DiveSafer is Certification and Accreditation  Programme  purposefully designed for Divemasters, Instructors and Service Providers to ensure that standards are adhered to in order to enhance recreational diving safety in Singapore. Divemasters, Instructors and  Service Providers that received the certification & accreditation are deemed to have fulfilled the criteria under the programme’s framework. Consumers would be encouraged to approach operators that are DiveSafer certified.

The DiveSafer program takes Divemasters, Instructors Service Providers through the Technical Reference TR32:2012 which was promulgated by the Technical Committee on Workplace Safety and Health under the direction of the General Engineering and Safety Standards Committee (GESSC).  The TR32:2012 was launched on 7 Jan 2013 by Mayor  Dr Teo Ho Pin, Chairman of the National Water Safety Council.  It provides a set of requirements to promote uniformity of practice in relation to safety and health in the recreational diving industry.
