Nautical Archaeological Society (NAS)
The Nautical Archaeology Society (NAS) wants to allow everyone to benefit from the unique and fascinating resource that is the world’s maritime heritage. It was originally established in the 1970’s “to further research in nautical archaeology and publish the results.
In the context of good collaboration between the Scientific Committee of CMAS and the Secretariat of the Convention on the Protection of Underwater Heritage of UNESCO, we intend to contribute to a better distribution of activities in archeology underwater with CMAS divers in the world.
In the framework of the good existing relationships between RAC/SPA and CMAS, CMAS Scientific Commission has pleasure in making available to divers the different RAC/SPA action plans for a better knowledge of policies…
